Does hippybot support HipChat's v2 API?

I see several references to HipChat's v1 API, does hippybot support v2 as well? if not, are there plans on supporting it?

The light wrapper that ships with hippybot only supports the v1 API, we will hopefully switch to the v2 API as soon as either I or someone else has time to add it (PRs welcome! 😃)

In the meantime you can use the hipchatpy in your own plugins, which does support the v2 API, incidentally we might move hippybot to use hipchatpy for the api wrapper to simplify things.
