Can't set up empty option as default value (with temporary solution)

Hello, thank you for this great thing!
I tried to add empty default value and can not did it. May be the reason is my customization: I used complex array and some markup to build options.
So I find the temporary solution and the widget works properly now:

In addition to adding empty value, you need to set Placeholder in options
