Impact of ig45 retractions

Dear ig45 data users,

Datasets hosted under the ig45 data collection have been retracted due to the discovery of erroneous elements to the data. Specifically, the data issues reported are:

Title: daily and monthly 20km files for ERA5 evaluation had extra years of data

Description: Some of the 2001-2005, 2006 – 2010 and 2011-2015 daily ERA5 evaluation files, and 2001-2010 monthly files had extra years at the beginning and end. The affected files will be updated in v20250114.

I spent a bunch of time trying to work out where this experiment had gone in the catalog - then it finally twigged on me that it was already broken anyway, and had been excluded (#290 / #300 ).

@charles-turner-1 do you remember if we already had a ticket around for fixing ig45?

I think we were just using the reopened ticket for adding it - #199 .
