Owner pushes a patch
External contributor submit a patch
Owner reviews patch submitted by contributor
The system notifies owner that a new patch request
Owner provides feedback to contributor about the patch. This activity happens offline. They will communicate via chat, email, etc
Owner merge the contributor patch The system notifies the contributor that patch was merged
