PTVSD installed but, not working.

I already use ptvsd with FreeCAD and can debug FreeCAD Python.

I have Blender 4.0 and want to debug Sverchok nodes. But, when I add the ptvsd to any Sverchok node py file sverchok is no longer avaialble in Blender.

So, I'm not sure if I just can't do what I want, or it's a Blender 4.0 thing, or does your debugger no longer need the ptvsd, or have I just messed something up.

I'm on Manjaro. As I said the ptvsd debug works with FreeCAD.

I see now that the latest doesn't use ptvsd. I think I'm past all that but now Start debug server says it can't find debugpy.

Where does debugpy come from (what installs it and where) should it be? vscode has both Python support and Python debug extensions installed.

Debugpy should be installed using pip. If you came from seeing my old video, see the readme, it contains the most up to date instructions. See debugpy install info here.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have a look at the link tomorrow. And, I'll see if I can figure it out.

I only have Debian and Manjaro. For a long while now, every time I attempt to pip anything, a screen full of text is displayed explaining that pip is no longer the "in" way to install things and I should use the package manager of choice on my distro.
