In principle, the rediraffe tool should build an automated list of redirects including manual ones:
https://github.com/wpilibsuite/sphinxext-rediraffe

set rediraffe_branch in conf.py (e.g. rediraffe_branch = "main~1")
run rediraffecheckdiff
update the redirects file (automatically)?
