Combination File Method (Samsung).md

Tools Needed:

• Odin
• Samsung USB driver

General steps

1. Find out the version of the bootloader by going into recovery mode (volume up + power). Example N920IDVU5CRH2
2. Find a combination files for that specific devies you want to unlock online. The combination bootloader version must not be older than what on the the device (version 5 from the example above)
3. Boot the phone into download mode (volume down + power) start flash the combination file.
4. Go to the Setting >> enable developer options, and Developer options >> oem unlock setting on.
5. Go into download mode again and start flashing the full original firmware (you can find it online).

• This method is tested on Samsung Galaxy A8 Star
