##Introduction##

This is the Python binding for the C++ library Biomechanical ToolKit.

This project is split in two parts:

  • A shared library containing all the C++ wrapped objects;
  • A Python module using the shared library.

The latter can be used directly in a Python interpreter, while the goal of the former is to be used within a standalone application offering a PythonQt-based console to interact with btk* objects.

Internally, the binding is managed by PythonQt.
