Describe the feature

Hi

I had my octopus mini go offline and I didnt notice. I only noticed as my energy dashboard stopped producing data. Once I worked out what it was, it started working again.

Is there a way to see when data is stale and stops going up on the Current Accumulative entities that we get a notification or something ?

What got me back working was re-adding the mini to my octopus app. just over 1 hour later, I had data coming back through again.

This also stopped the Gas from working in the dashboard too.

Thanks in advance.

Data can become stale for a variety of reasons. For these situations, it's recommended to use built in HA functionality using automations looking at either the diagnostic entity , https://bottlecapdave.github.io/HomeAssistant-OctopusEnergy/entities/diagnostics/#current-consumption-data-last-retrieved, but in your situation you probably want to look at the last_changed attribute on the current demand or current accumulative sensor.

I'll look at raising an event and/or repair notice in the future if no data is retrieved for the current day, although the issue is this this might be valid in certain situations (e.g. away from home and running off batteries)
