The numbers in the legend together with the time axis of figure 15.4 is supposed to give the numbers of plotted in 17.6 (see BScanTotalFluxPerTime.py for details).
However, something has gone wrong somewhere as the numbers does not add up. Verification of BScanTotalFluxPerTime.py is needed, and figure 17.6 would have to be recreated. Notice also that the proper caption of figure 17.6 is "Average particle flux", and not "Average particle flux per second"
I suspect that the bug lies in figure 17.6. That is: I suspect that the figure was not updated when the surface S was moved from the edge of the simulation domain to ρ = 0.0412 m. In this case, it is believed that the trends of figure 17.6 would be the same, but that the relative numbers are wrong.
At the current time I am unable to correct this bug as I no longer have access to neither the pickled files, nor the raw data to create them.
