Support multiple organizations for a dataset?

as a feature request, would it be possible to allow datasets to be a part of more than one organization? I know some of our work is collaborative across more than one group and it would be nice to allow each organization/team to be listed as a formal organization on the dataset, which also helps with tracking which groups have data on EcoSIS

Unfortunately CKAN, the system data.ecosis.org is built on top of, only allows for one organization to be attached to a dataset. You can create a group the represents multiple parties and add the dataset to the group.

As of this time there is no representation of groups in search, but it is feasible to look to add groups to the landing page for a dataset so they are represented, but would need to discuss this further with the team.
