Biome distribution has to be reworked, using names from MTG, but retaining the differentiating features. No separate "grassland" biomes, but using tree noise distribution.
Intermediates between biomes, e.g. conifer-tree mix.
Move out of default/conifer/flowers and make it a separate mod.
