The following is being written to my error_log daily:

PHP Warning: unlink(/home/rhinopants/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-scss/cache/child-styles.css): No such file or directory in /home/rhinopants/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-scss/class/class-wp-scss.php on line 108

I'm not using a caching plugin at the moment, nor am I linking to /wp-scss/cache/child-styles.css anywhere.

Can you give a update on the way your WP-SCSS plug is setup? Screenshot of your settings would do
