Motivation

  • Remove technical debt and enable more streamlined feature development in the future.
  • Make it easier to migrate to OpenZeppelin Contracts 5.0 in the future

Tasks

  • Consolidate code from ZkEvmV2 into LineaRollup
  • Ensure existing tests are passing

Acceptance criteria

  • Smart contract and E2E tests passing

Risks

  • Storage slots and interface should be preserved

Remember to

  • Add the documentation label in case there is an impact on the documentation
  • Add priority and team labels
  • Add Task for updating the Runbook or adding/updating existing metrics and alerts.
