Is there a guide or walkthrough of how to contribute? I want to help and maybe take some of the plugin icons from Snappercord's theme.

An exact guide is not yet available, this may be a future feature, with the latest update every Icon got It's own variable. You can find the general vars here:
https://github.com/CreArts-Community/Settings-Icons/blob/master/.github/docs/translations/variables/english.md

The Icon vars can be found in the file itself, so far it is not intended to add plugin icons.
