Geographic Place: Not possible to select a country (using OSM geographic name source)

Describe the bug
When selecting a country from OSM connector, saving the CollectingEvent is not possible and the following error message is shown: geographicPlaceNameSourceDetail.stateProvince.name must not be blank

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'CollectingEvent', 'Create New'
2. Enter a name like Canada or Germany the 'Current Geographic Place' search box
3. Click search, select the country and click save
4. See error

As discussed in the technical meeting today, this is most likely a UI/frontend issue and @cgendreau is working on it
