Summertime and "Dynamisierungsfaktor" in SLP

Hello demand regio team,

I could not find if or if not you used the so called 'Dynamisierungsfaktor' which is highly recommended for VDEW-household load profiles.
And neither I could find the implementation of German summertime (CEST) for the standard load profiles.
Would be great if you could help me with that.

Hi Ann-Katrin,

A general info on this repository: As far as I know, this repo isn't maintained on a regular basis anymore (due to most of the former members not working in science any longer and might only look into issues in their limited free time).

Regarding your questions:

• As far as I remember we've used the Dynamisierungsfaktor in household load profiles, but directly in the datasets which are saved on the DemandRegio server. Maybe check our final report (in German though): https://www.ffe.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/DemandRegio_Abschlussbericht.pdf
• Also from memory: The datasets are always UTC-timed, this time format is independed from time-zone and daylight saving shifts. You can easily convert this using the pandas datetime convert: https://pandas.pydata.org/docs/reference/api/pandas.Series.dt.tz_convert.html
