Are there any online docs for the Diligent API? I found this, but it doesn't look up to date...

Yes, this one is quite out-of-date.
I have to set up automatic documentation update.

This would be very welcome.

As an alterantive (or in addition) you could add a doxygen target in the cmake scripts so that users could easily generate the docs on their own.
