As I've seen, the symlinks are absolute. While beeing on a shared host, using ssh in a chrooted environment, this doesnt work. Since the webserver ist not chrooted, all the symlinks are pointing to a wrong place.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here or beeing just blind.
For me it would be great to have an option for the symlinks created with relative path.
