Proposing an optional feature for DiscordLink to integrate new town formations in Eco with Discord. This feature would allow for automated channel and role creation, enhancing the game-discord community experience.

Feature Overview

  • Automated Channel and Role Creation: Automatically create a Discord channel and a "Mayor of X" role for it when a new town is formed in game. If able, it would be great if it was linked to a corresponding in-game channel restricted to Citizens of X Town. The Mayor of the town would have the permissions to moderate only that channel.

  • Citizen Access: grant town citizens with linked accounts access to their town's channel in discord.

A lot of towns want to communicate within their town separately, and often try to rely on in-game chat channels with limited success. It would be wonderful if there was a way to create and link the in-game chat channels automatically to discord for each created town.

I will look into 10.0 features later at some point. Currently I'm just stabilizing the build and going on winter holidays.
What you're suggestion is a rather massive undertaking compared to most other features and it relies on players linking their Discord account, which most players don't do. I'll leave this issue open and take the suggestion into account when building the 10.0 feature support though :)
