Based on comprehensive analysis by Reinhard et al. (2024) - FBrf0261099 the three main groups are large central-projecting, small central-projecting and anterior-projecting. Anterior-projecting cells "also have larger somata than the s-CPDN3", so should be under 'large DN3 neuron', making the 'small central-projecting DN3 neuron' the only type of 'small DN3 neuron'.
