Introspection endpoint not compliant (?)

In the moment:
Given a valid access token the claims associated with it can be found by sending the token to the AS /introspection endpoint.

By having a closer look at the authlete documentation , in particular section 3.5.1, it seems that introspection is just the first step followed by another call to /vci/single/parse before obtaining the claims associated with the token. Anyway the documentation does not seem really explaining all input data to each API and how the output is obtained.

Thus I think more study should be done in this sense if more interoperability want to be achived in the future.
