Guidelines

  • I have searched the issue tracker for open and closed issues that are similar to the feature request I want to file, without success.
  • I have searched the documentation for information that matches the description of the feature request I want to file, without success.
  • This issue contains only one feature request.

Problem Description

I often summarize YouTube videos using ChatGPT, but to do this, I need to go to the YouTube website, open the video, expand the description, find the transcription, copy everything, and then go to ChatGPT. Additionally, having a transcription improves accessibility for many people. Many videos also don’t have captions, making transcriptions especially useful in these cases.

Proposed Solution

Including a button that opens a small popup to instantly view the video’s transcription, along with an option to copy everything with a single click, would be incredibly useful.
