Hi,
I have been since many years a Qiqqa enthusiast and advocate. I am happy to read that Qiqqa is open source and being developed further.
Now I am almost completely switch from Windows to Arch Linux, only Qiqqa does not have a Linux version as far as I can see. I am now using Qiqqa in Wine (staging version) but it does not work nicely.
My questions:

• Is a Linux version being developed?
• Probably I need extra dependencies to run Qiqqa correctly with Wine. Could you advice me?

I am in the same situation as p-probertobakker. I switched to Linux years ago and run Windows10 only when necessary.

Qiqqa's feature set as a reference manager, annotation tool which allows it to function as a type of qualitative data analysis tool (QDA) is unparalleled among open source software.
I am still exploring its features, but am particularly interested in learning its features that allows assigning codes to sections (blocks of text) in PDFs. This type of feature is missing among all open-source note-taking application and is a feature that many thousands of users will want.

I was not able to get Qiqqa to install in Crossover Office (WINE). The installation failed.
I have two questions:

1. Any recommendations on how to get Qiqqa to run properly in WINE in Linux?
2. Is there a roadmap for the release of a cross-platform new version of Qiqqa?
