[Bug report] Could be? Tag generation fails

Bug description

When attempting to create tags I've come across an issue where a pop-up message appears saying "Provided tag name is in use". There is no duplicte in the tag name list and you cannot go beyond this in creating the tag in question. It is entirely random and I've had two attempted tags, one numerical and the other alphabetical, do the same thing. Have been successful in creating other tags so this is a head scratcher. Log viewer does not show these messages.
