does mafglib crash servers? Seeing how it's a library, I'm hesitant in excludig it, as it might break dependencies of other mods which aren't necessarily clientside-only.
I've just made a server pack with MaFgLib inside, and yes it definitely would crash the server as it tried to load Screen class, which is a client side class.
My server pack uses MC 1.16.5 with Forge 36.2.42
After reading your word I'm not so sure about excluding it, IDK if it is possible to ignore classloading failures from it as some Mixins which loads client classes will just got ignored instead of crashing the server.

Would, or did? If the lib did crash the server, it must be excluded. Though it's strange that a lib would load something on its own, without actively being used by another mod. The mod author should definitely know about this.
