Message box {popUps} automations

I love using our panels and the feature we get the most use of is the "message box" { I call them pop ups } for notifications and reminders. They Come in handy because when Barbara is working she does not pay much attention to her phone.
Turning on backlight and A pop up on the openhasp screen between two of her computer monitors gets her attention.

Using home assistant I have implemented ways to use a input text box on a dashboard to send message notifications to a openhasp panel and to automatically post message boxes using automation and templates for different events such as..

• Door left open
• Laundry done
• Over use of energy
• garbage can reminder

Just playing around I was able to create automation for the popup {message box} to clear\delete after an event was over or text in the input text box has cleared or to automatically clear text in the dashboard text box after selecting "close" on the panel.

The laundry message automation goes in the same automation as my other notifications method such as Alexa announcing {turned off during work hours } , LED matrix text message and under counter LED strip changing to notify mode {police lights}.
By adding this to the actions of my washer is done automation.

Just need to use unique "id" for each category of popup so it will not over write others.

Home assistant UI automation has improved so much that you are now able to use visual editing to use MQTT publish commands and add a standard payload or a payload template without having that annoying
"Visual editor is not supported for this configuration"

There are a couple of ways of creating automated popup messages.
Direct input automation using topic and payload\payload template

or using a "input text: set" to a input text box helper in the automation. {After you set up automation for input text}here
