For example, if you have a custom list set with a first/last value that exceeds that of the currently loaded clip (i.e. ranges for a regular episode and then applied to an NC or something), it will return invalid values, which causes Wobbly to crash if you navigate to the Custom lists tab and select a preset with an invalid range in the dropdown menu, making it impossible to delete them from the UI (only from opening the file up in a text editor).
An easy workaround for this is to not copy over the frame ranges in the custom list import, as well as checking what else shouldn't be copied over.
