Try viewing the site in a new session or incognito mode, another browser, or with extensions disabled. Errors may be due to extensions like uBlock, uMatrix, or the Firefox setting "tracking protection". I made a fork of removeddit and encountered the same issues. See discussion here |

Using removeddit with ANY thread now produces this error. Looks like 401 is an access denied error.
Did the developer of this app get their permissions revoked? Is there a way to fix this, because I use this service, very very often as it's basically the last of its kind.
