Card-mod causing error on camera install

Description

On the latest version of Tapo-Control and HA I was unable to install a new C220 camera, I kept getting credential errors after inputting the username and password, which worsened to just unknown errors after inputting the IP address. No obvious or helpful error messages showed in the logs.

I've had another unrelated problem which was fixed by removing cardmod and thought I'd give it a try here, so this is more of a report of a problem than a request for a fix.

Anyway, removing cardmod fixed the problem here too and I was able to add the camera in the normal way and reinstalling cardmod afterwards has caused no further problems.
