     கான்ஸ்டான்டினோபிள் (கிரேக்கம்: க்வாடாவ் டிவோயுடோஓஜஜி, கான்ஸ்டான்டினோபோலிஸ், அல்லது எம்ஏஏ, பொலிஸ்) (Greek: KwvatavTivoUTIoAiG, Konstantinoupolis, or MoA, Polis) ரோமானியப் பேரரசின் தலைநகராக இருந்தது (330-395), பைசண்டைன் / கிழக்கு ரோமானிப் பேரரசு (395-1204 மற்றும் 1261-1435), லத்தீன் பேரரசு (1204-1261) மற்றும் ஒட்டோமான் பேரரசு (1435-1922).  1930-இல் இஸ்தான்புல் என்று பெயர் மாற்றப்பட்டது.  இது இன்றைய துருக்கியில் உள்ள ஒரு நகரம் ஆகும்.


__Constantinople__ (Greek: Κωνσταντινούπολις, Konstantinoúpolis, or Πόλις, Polis) was the capital of the Roman Empire (330-395), the Byzantine/East Roman Empire (395-1204 and 1261-1453), the Latin Empire (1204-1261), and the Ottoman Empire (1453-1922). In 1930 it was renamed Istanbul. It is a city in present-day Turkey.
