Font + Save is broken (Brave Browser 1.30.89)

I just updated to the latest version of Brave Browser on Linux Mint and the fonts and save feature to Oneechan are broken. The font I'm using currently is monospace, which isn't displaying correctly. Below is screenshots of /g/'s catalog + the console and Oneechan's settings.

I believe this is a limitation of the chrome browser. Change your default fonts in appearance settings to reflect the type of font youll be trying to use. For example, if you set your browser-wide sans-serif font to Times New Roman, any sans-serif font you select for OneeChan will display as Times. I use ungoogled Chromium and would like to know as well if there is a way around this.
