What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Run the downloaded installer in XP SP2.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Was expecting it to simply upgrade from v1.1.
Window opens that says it requires Windows Service Pack 3 or later.

What version of PeerBlock are you using? On what operating system? 32- or
64-bit?
Currently v1.1 r518 on XP SP2.
Trying to upgrade to v1.2 r693.

Please provide any additional information below. Make sure to attach
peerblock.log and/or any screenshots that would help explain your problem.
Notice on v1.2 page stated only support for 2000 was dropped. It didn't say XP
SP2 is dropped also.
Please fix to allow v1.2 to run in XP SP2. Or add warning to say XP SP2 was
dropped as well as 2000.

Forgot to mention that the v1.1 upgrade check told me to upgrade even though
the new v1.2 won't install in my system with XP SP2. The upgrade check should
check the OS version for compatibility with the new version before saying to
upgrade.

Update:
I tried setting the install exe properties to Windows 2000 Compatibility Mode,
but that did not help.

I downloaded and unzipped the Portable XP 32-bit version. It ran fine.
So the problem seems to be with the install routine. The install routine is
not compatible with XP SP2. The install exe requires XP SP3.
If you have XP SP2, use the Portable XP 32-bit version until the install
routine is fixed.
