(Moved from http://trac.mach-ii.com/machii/ticket/664)

Hi, I would like to suggest a tool to debug mach-ii application, that would be automatically loaded as a sidebar of the page, which can show mach-ii variables, settings, properties, etc. I think it would save time for developers by avoiding going back and forth for debugging purpose.

One of the great examples in the production is ColdBox? sidebar feature.

Again, This is just a suggestion/feature request.

Thank you, Syed

Cc kurtwiersma, mattwoodward, mikerogers, adrianscott, brianfitzgerald, dougsmith added
Keywords logging added
Component changed from framework - core to framework - logging
Owner changed from peterfarrell to mikerogers
Milestone changed from Dashboard 1.1.0 alpha to Mach-II 1.9.0 Un-Targeted
This would probably be added to something like MachIILogger output. What additional things would you like to see in the logger out that is not there right now? (P.s. The logger output can be customized, so maybe there is something you want to share with the project.)

I think this is something worth exploring to improve the current output of the Mach-II logger. Maybe it would provide links or do AJAX calls to the Mach-II dashboard (if installed) as well for integration. Mike do you want to explore this? Currently, we're using Prototype as the JS framework for the Dashboard.
