• Reason: Life Jobs
• Earliest end: July 2025
• Exceptions
  • Hotfixes from upstream projects
  • Ready to merge, mini PRs (to Extended Version)
  • Security related fixes

Roadmap

This Roadmap has been minimized in 24.01.2025. This does not mean that deleted ones will not be implemented. I just chose to cut down the list a bit rather than make too many promises and not keep them

These will be moved to a proper application after we choose, self-host a project management software

Milestone - 1

In no order

• Improvements for Tempo [Added with v0.27.3 & v0.27.4]
  • x5 speed & x2.5 and x3 speed for pop-up mode
• CI/CD updates for better build/test mechanism [Added with v0.27.5]
  • current release code is a bit garbage. Learn if you can use functions in CI and organize it
• Add Unstable Features section to settings page
  • to add Unstable Features quickly into extended version
  • these should be turned off by default ! (add to wiki)
  • Also get this section data in ACRA Bug Report (understand if bug reason is one of them)
• Select Video Sources to list on left
  • to hide unwanted video sources
• Select Feed Sources to list on left
  • to hide unwanted predefined feeds (Trending for example)
• Fix: Old SponsorBlock Segments are persist after full-screen video change Tubular/#152
• Allow to override all theme colors
• Allow to change theme color colors for each video source
• Set permanent channel groups grid type (boxed or vertical)

• Merge Upstream dev/kotlinrefactor branches and exlore changes/kotlin specific changes

• Channel groups/feed filters
  • (per-channel/per-group based shorts/videos/live event - duration - like count etc. filter and sort)
  • (lots of edge cases and possibilities, should be discussed!)

• New Maintainer ? (It's the nature of MaintainTeam organization!)
