I'd uploaded the new 3.1.5r2 firmware after deleting the eeprom at my "Multiwii and Megapirate AIO Flight Controller w/FTDI (ATmega 2560) V2.0".
Everything seems fine and the flight-controller starts, like in 3.0.1r4, with blinking LEDs.
But after this initialization the flight-controller hang on/ freezes and the LEDs turn off. I can't connect via Mavlink (MissionPlaner) too.
It's completely useless with this firmware.
Arduino IDE 1.0.5r2 Windows 8.1

Little Update. Uncommenting: //#define GPS_PROTOCOL GPS_PROTOCOL_UBLOX Result: The Board doesn't freeze anymore.
I'd was used to define it.
So, no really bug. Sorry for that

Strange problem, you could use the flashtool as-well. maybe this will work too.
As you wrote in you update the problem is resolved, please close this issue. thanks.
