A user can choose to use the 12 hour grace period for different objectives or a combination. I have gone over those here: https://navid200.github.io/xDrip/docs/Dexcom/G7_Grace.html You can set xDrip to show when sensor expires on the main screen. That is explained here: https://navid200.github.io/xDrip/docs/Sensor-Expiry.html The sensor expiry alert is relatively new. There has already been a request to customize it and there has actually been a submission to do so: #3675 I personally am in favor of offering a little bit of customization as long as it is reasonable. Can you tell me the significance of the 36-hour period in this context? |

With xdrip I can't really utilize grace period. Also, sensor expiry time on my device on main screen is in 12 hour format whereas all other time related things are displayed in 24 hour format. |

Since dexcom one plus has extra 12 hours of "grace period" it shifts new sensor start time by 12 hours. Would be great if I could set xdrip to remind 36 hours before sensor expires.
Maybe it is possible make it so one could set custom value for how many hours before notification is shown with 24 hours being default.
