QR reading problems Dexcom One+

Hi. I have a problem with reading the QR code. I switched to Dexcom One+. Xdrip doesn't read the QR code and doesn't use the photo that can be uploaded with the code. I tried to install Xdrip on another phone (both latest Android). The problem remained! Any other apps read the code perfectly. What should I do?

Move the phone back. It may work then.
Or, save the image onto your phone and use the other method as explained in the guide to scan from the image file.

Tried to use saved image. Still same. Also tried to reinstall Xdrip, but Im still here ))) That's why I tried different phones ))

For some, Dexcom app is the way to go.
You can use Dexcom app and get readings from Dexcom app to xDrip suing the companion app method: https://navid200.github.io/xDrip/docs/Follow/CompanionApp.html

Also, sometimes when you have tried something over and over, you may just need a break. The next day, you will be pleasantly surprised when it works.

Yes, you're right. Sometimes it's really necessary to let go of the situation and come back to it later. As for the Dexcom app, I won't be able to use it because it's not on the list of supported devices, but I did try to do that. If you need more videos or any extra data, just let me know.

I think you were too close, but copy the qr to your phone and use the "from file" option.

I found the reason for the scanning issue. To scan the QR code, you need to be farther from the monitor. It doesn’t matter that the code fits perfectly within your smartphone's camera field, but the important thing is the distance. I tried it from 70 cm away from the monitor, and it worked! However, it still doesn’t work when uploading a photo.

I did suggest yesterday that you move the phone back. May be I used wrong words. That's what I meant. I meant move the scanner away from the screen.

And I wonder why the scan from image file doesn't work. But, we can talk about that if it comes up again. I have no idea why it wouldn't work as long as you have saved the image of the QR code from the guide in your download folder and choose it when asked by xDrip.

Anyway, I am happy the problem is resolved.
