In description of the exercise that can be found under the below link:

The RX_CHECK_INTERVAL is mentioned as required to be defined. Although it is not present in the code of the exercise resolution:
https://github.com/NordicDeveloperAcademy/cell-fund/blob/master/v2.4.0/lesson5/cellfund_less5_exer2_solution/src/main.c#L23-L25.

It looks like a deprecated part that should be removed from the documentation.
