Catppuccin Theme style follows System's Light/Dark Mode state

Has anyone figured out how to make the settings.vim.theme.style follows the system's Light/Dark mode.

In my case, I am on macOS 15.2, I am using "catppuccin" as my settings.vim.theme.name. I specifically want the style to be "mocha" in dark mode and "latte" in light mode.

The "easiest" way would be to do this via home-manager's specializations. Alternatively, using raw lua, you can try to update Neovim's color scheme on generation switch by updating the colorscheme table.

Home Manager Specialisations seems good enough, Do you know how to activate a specialization when having home-manager as a nix-darwin module? the docs propose to run home-manager generations | head -1 to get the latest generation, which I can't do in my case.

I'm not exactly sure, I have never used nix-darwin and have dropped home-manager some time ago.
