Embedded video won't play any more on OO presentation (Desktop, Ubuntu) #1742

This issue is unique.

  • I have used the search tool and did not find an issue describing my bug.

Operating System

Linux (DEB package)

Version information

8.1.1.27

Expected Behavior

A video has been embedded into a presentation. It plays in editing mode. In presentation mode, it is expected to play when clicked. This behavior could be confirmed prior to October 25.

Actual Behavior

Since October 28, only a black box occurs in presentation mode.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Take any mp4 video and insert it into an empty slide.
  2. Click on the video in editing mode and the play-bar appears below.
  3. Click on play and see the video playing
  4. Now start presentation mode
  5. Click the position of the video
  6. A short flash appears below the video, if moving the pointer below the video, a white bar appears, no playback control bar.
  7. The video remains black

I can confirm that the problem exists. I created bug 71934 with your issue.
