Operating System

Windows 10 / 8.1 / 7

Version information

version 8.2.2.22 (x64 msi)

Expected Behavior

Nothing. The morph transition should do nothing when transitioning between two identical slides

Actual Behavior

The first letter of a word that has white space to its left disappears for the duration of the transition

Reproduction Steps

  1. Create a new presentation
  2. Change the title slide to a blank slide layout
  3. Copy the following and paste it into the slide:
Some text,
  and some more text
  1. Copy the slide on the "slides" sidebar and paste it to create a duplicate
  2. Change the duplicate's transition to Morph and set its Parameter to either Letters or Words
  3. Press the preview or start slideshow button and trigger the transition animation

Additional information

An instance of the glitch in question (slide numbers added to bottom right for clarity):

morph

This problem also happens with other arrangements of words prepended or indented with whitespace (such as source code, for example):
