Session Name

Kick off your SUTD life

Abstract

Learn more about Taekwondo, bring your skills to greater heights!

Student Organisation organising this session

Taekwondo Club

Session intent (what to expect)

This introduction session is opened to

  • Participants will have a greater understanding of Taekwondo as a sport and its different aspects (poomsae and sparring)
  • For participants that are new to the sport, they would learn the basic stances and kicks
  • For participants with experience, they would learn sparring techniques

Session details

Venue: ISH Dance studio 6&7

Date: 24 May (Friday)/ 29 May 2019 (Wednesday)
(We are allocated Fridays, but there may be low attendance on Fridays if freshmores want to go home)
Our trainings will be open for freshmores to join even if they are not able to make it for the open trainings

Time: 6pm to 8pm

Up to 20 participants only

Speakers/Workshop facilitators

Facilitators would be existing club members, headed by the black belts and assisted by other members.

hello, also do take note that 29th May will be the freshmore inauguration dinner so freshmores won't be available

Hi, we have decided to hold the two sessions on 24 May and 31 May instead. Will there be any conflicts in this case?
