Hi
It is a great toolbox and coded elegantly.
I have been exploring this toolbox for a while now. I am interested in application towards discovery of phase field equations (Allen-cahn and Can-hilliard). From initial trials on a simple 1D Allen-Cahn equation, deeppymod was able to identify most of the terms correctly but the coefficients were off by a large margin.
u_t - 0.0001u_xx + 5u^3 - 5u (original equation)
u_t + 3.71u^3-3.24u (discovered equations)
I have tried few combinations of network (tanh, Siren), estimators (threshold, PDE-FIND), constraints (Least squares) and all the combinations seems to converge to similar equation as above.
Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated in applying deeppymod for discovery of phase field equations.
Thanks
Sandeep
