You should add a license to the the project.

  1. Add a LICENSE file with the term
  2. Add the following paragraph to the end of the README.md file:
FingerTracks is available under the MIT license. See the LICENSE file for more info.

I'd use MIT personally. If you think, like me, that software licenses are a honking wall of text, you can read the TL;DR version on:
http://www.tldrlegal.com/license/mit-license

Includes example license and info on license in simple terms.

That or you can try the WTFPL (Do WTF You Want to Public License) 👍
