Describe the bug

Many mods aren't compatible with pojav launcher for now.
Instead of creating an issue for each and every mod, add yours to this list via a comment and the log file 😄

Non-exhaustive list of broken mods
Chlorine
Create mod
Scannable mod
colormatic
Item physics not lite
randompatches
Immersive Vehicles(Forge mod)
Sodium (version ≥ 0.2)
MrCrayfish's Gun Mod 1.16.5
ReplayMod (FFMPEG wrongly placed)
Dynamic surrounding (white textures)

Heuristix's thegunmod 1.2.5 which requires risugami's modloader and modloadermp is known to not work, tested it out and gave me a throw exception, the full log is below.

Sodium extra mod crashes while clicking the options menu in 1.16.5(with sodium 2.0, sodium 2.0 works fine in my device)

Whenver I used to launch my Minecraft with these mods Pojavlauncher screen turns black means it loads a little bit then it turns black here is the log files btw that is a Modpack ( custom modpack)

2.0.0+ versions use C++ and support only Windows and Mac OS So ye, you cant use new versions on any Linux (Android is Linux too) Probably same with Touhou Little Maid, as it been made by same creator, but Timeless and Classics Zero actually works

Uuugh what do YOU mean, because I didnt get it...

Yes Steve Model, Touhou Little Maid and Timeless and Classics Zero made by same creator.
Yes Steve Model uses C++ since version 2.0.0 with means that you can't use this mod on any Linux machine. Only on Windows and Mac.
I also think that author also uses C++ for Touhou Little Maid mod with means that it cant be used on any Linux machine too.
But Timeless and Classics Zero doesn't uses C++ and can be used anywhere.

Linux is core for OS that everyone can use to make their own OS. Android made on Linux.

It even makes the entire main menu the same red screen, so I can't even attempt to try anything

I know that when you have some version of create on 1.16.5 it worked but I don't remember the version of create that worked
It was trowing me from the world after placing but Somehow I menage to place water weel

Create can run with holygles renderer on some devices but mostly I think angle renderer works

Forge 1.12.2 Thaumcraft Beta 26 with its dependencie Baubles 1.5.2 crashes before any mojang screen appears.
Baubles 1.5.2 on its own works though.
Thaumcraft on its own boots as well but then tells you it needs baubles.

If you use LTW in 1.21.1,xearo's wold map and minimap will make crash.But it won't happen if you use holy!

Mods name that aren't working for me:
Coflnet (aka Skycofl)- probably the newest version
Patcher by sk1er - not the newest version need to load it first so another mod name skyclient updater detects it and updates the mod to lastest version

Edit: Another thing in few mods the basic QOL stuff doesn't work (idk why I have disabled most of the things for fps so might be from it but not sure ) the 1 thing that I noticed : Chroma colour or something basic QOL cool looking stuff doesn't work (these QOL stuff are mainly from Skytils and Skyblockaddons)

I'm using latest version of pojavlauncher foxglove-20241119-a5d02c1-v3_openjdk (9939699)

Pojavlauncher is installed from the playstore.

I'm only using one mod and it's the jenny mod


Jenny mod with renderer Holy GL4ES loads with a very dark screen

Zoom into the image, it's still functional, you can still click buttons, and you can hear the background music.

You have to guess, where the buttons are, even though the screen is white. you can still hear the background music.

hello everyone i would like to update this post about 2 mods not working and @Marshall2439 please read this because u are wrong maybe
So today i was just messing around with the files and in the process i just made a zip folder of my existing .minecraft folder ( my not running mods were still in the mods folder as shown in my previous post) so after i messed around i deleted the .minecraft and extracted the one i had in zip and when i load my game suddenly the mods are running idk how, if the pojavteam fixed thats great but the last update at playstore was 24 nov thats what playstore shows and my mods werent working till now so i suggest u guys to give this a try if ur mod is just not loading. ( Please tell me if i am wrong ) thats all @Mathias-Boulay - this may be useful

Another quick update , regarding my post which is right above this one - The skycofl mod if working perfectly but the patcher mod was crashing after 5-10 secs of game opened and when I updated the mod to the newest version named polypatcher - the game crashes instantly after the mojang screen

Dude if it's running then you're all good. Just saying that those mods are not supported. Read wiki for more mods that are not supported

In case if no one has reported this...

The mod Concurrent Chunk Management Engine (Optimizations/Natives Math) (c2me-opts-natives-math) 0.3.1+alpha.0.45+1.21.4 does not run; it requires Java 22.

Error line on latestlog.txt:

	 - Mod 'Concurrent Chunk Management Engine (Optimizations/Natives Math)' (c2me-opts-natives-math) 0.3.1+alpha.0.45+1.21.4 requires version 22 or later of 'OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM' (java), but only the wrong version is present: 21!

I'm currently playing with my sis, and she doesn't have a PC or laptop. I installed pojav (glow-worm), made a small modpack (that did include Create and Sudium (+ indium ofc)), configured pojav (LTW renderer), and started playing...

Today we encountered a weird problem where we couldn't join the server, and after lots of tries and fails, I stopped my wheat farm contraption, drills, mixer and press, and it started working... (the problem was the contraption)

Looking at the logs, I can't really get it... not sure what "block.frag" is, but I think some how the contraption was producing that and the shaders engine didn't like it.

Guess I'll build the farm a bit far, so the shaders would work again

Also there is a problem with Christmas double chests (not normal ones) in rendering (the top half part is rendered rotated 90 degrees in y axis and about 6 blocks away from the chest itself). I feel this is a Sodium problem

Can you turn off all the mods you use and try it again?

The modrinth page says to use sodium or else it would not work
