Is there some plan to develop the GTKMM qalculate-gtkmm ?

What would benefits of a version using Gtkmm, compared to GTK, be?
The code would possibly be nicer (although there are more efficient ways to improve the structure of the code), but there would no noticeable differences for the end user (except added dependencies).
I would certainly never maintain both a version using Gtkmm and a version using regular GTK.
