Poor playback performance for AV1 videos encoded with Aviator #520

  1. Encode a video using Aviator
  2. Try to play it back
  3. Plays like a slideshow

The video is played with nvav1dec on an Nvidia RTX 4070.

  2. Video compressed into H.264 with Handbrake
  3. Video transcoded into AV1/opus with Aviator
  4. Screen recording showing playback performance of 1-3

According to discussion in issue you linked, you also reproduce the same problem in all other GStreamer based GTK apps. In such case, I advise you to open this issue in GStreamer repo instead as this does not appear to be a Clapper specific problem.
