Unable to start match with all mods enabled

Im unable to pinpoint the exact number of mods/file size where this occurs, but after enabling a certain amount of mods my game is unable to actually begin any matches. It boots perfectly fine, all menus (base game and arcropolis) function as normal. Stage select and character select work, but as soon after i hit + to start a match it crashes. The exact timing varries from 0.5-2 seconds, but it always freezes on the screen showing the VS screen before the match begins. The game eventually closes itself after this.

I'm certain its not any particular mods at fault, as I've tried multiple combinations of what is enabled/used in a match, and this issue only begins happening after a certain amount of total mods are enabled at once.
