Glaring Map Error

There seems to be a glaring error with the map, specifically with the Gulf of Mexico being erroneously labeled as the "Gulf of America". I'm pretty sure this is an error with the API, since a reply to an older post states that the app uses Google Maps API, and Google recently messed their map up with that error. Unfortunately both Bing Maps and Apple Maps have also adopted this error, so if you were to switch API's it would probably have to be to a smaller one that might not be as accurate with some smaller details, though if a map gets something as big as the Gulf of Mexico wrong I wouldn't be surprised if they also had errors with smaller details too.

Seems like the map TomTom uses doesn't have this error, though I don't know how much it'll cost to use their API. I'll try reaching out to them when I have the time.
